Is The Human Insight Summit (THiS) 2020 cancelled?
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we’re aligning with the CDC’s best practices for the health and safety of our customers, partners, employees and community. We’re excited to announce that instead of an in-person summit, Human Insight World (HiWorld) is completely virtual, so our global network of customers and friends can join us from anywhere between October 12-14th. How much does it cost to attend Human Insight World?
University Live Workshops on October 12th will cost $99. The online experience and all other HiWorld content on October 13-14th is free.
I have already registered for THiS 2020. Will I get a refund?
If you’ve have already registered for #THiS20, we’ve reimbursed you and your registration has been transferred to HiWorld. Any #THiS20 registration fees are automatically refunded to the original form of payment. Refunds take 5-7 business days to post to your credit card. If you haven't received a refund by May 29, 2020 please contact events@usertesting.com.
Will UserTesting be reimbursed for lost travel and/or accommodation costs?
No, UserTesting isn’t responsible for any airfare and/or hotel accommodation fees. Many airlines and hotels are offering flexible refund options at this time due to COVID-19. Please reach out to your airline and hotel directly.
Will #THiS20 be rescheduled to another date in 2020?
We have no plans on scheduling #THiS20 for an in person event this year.
Can I view sessions online if I didn’t yet register for the conference?
HiWorld sessions are free to access with registration. You can Sign up to access on-demand.
Now that THiS is virtual, can additional colleagues attend?
Absolutely! Invite your whole team! Last year we had several teams (over 20+) attend together. Everyone can Sign up to access on-demand.
Where can I find the main conference agenda?
We are currently curating an awesome agenda that will be shared shortly.
Will the sessions be available after the event?
Yes, the sessions will be available approximately two weeks after the event. All registered attendees will receive an email notification when presentations are available.
Who can attend HiWorld?
Whether you’re new to UserTesting, or a long-time loyal fan, we have content for you! Spend three 1/2 days with like-minded professionals in UX research, design, product, digital, and marketing who all focus on creating great experiences built with deep customer empathy and human insight.
University Live Workshops—Pre-conference training/workshop
What is University Live Workshop?
Before HiWorld opens, we're hosting University Live, a half-day of in-depth training led by experts from UserTesting. Choose one of our engaging, deep-dive workshops to learn new skills and get the most out of the Human Insight Platform. Register today—this is a hands-on workshop, so space is limited to 200 people. You can register for University Live during the registration process here.

University Live is $99.
What does University Live Workshops include?
Each workshop offers hands-on exercises, practical advice, and opportunities to network and share best practices with your peers. You’ll also get access to all session materials following the conference.
Will University Live Workshops be available after the event?
Yes, attendees will be given access to the Workshop they attended following the conference.
I registered for a University Live Workshop but wasn’t able to attend. Can I get access to the Workshop recording after the event?
Because this is an interactive experience, we’re limiting access to the recording to attendees only. If you were unable to attend, please contact us for a refund or credit toward next year’s event.
Can I sign up for more than one University Live Workshop?
Because the workshops are interactive and depend on an accurate headcount so we can provide the best experience, we’re limiting registration and attendance to one University Live Workshop per person.

What are the illumi Awards?
The UserTesting illumi awards seek to inspire the world to think about human insights as a key ingredient for customer experience excellence, product and marketing innovation, and organizational success. We want to recognize and celebrate those who use UserTesting to make a meaningful difference in these areas.
What’s in it for you?
Aside from some cool swag just for entering, if you win you will get a trophy you can proudly display, bragging rights for the year, and maybe even that well deserved promotion at work.

Judging criteria. Finalists and winners determined by a panel of industry experts.
Judging criteria will be based on the following factors (equally weighted):
- Level of impact (to your customers and/or organization)
- Quality of story (clarity + detail + memorability)
