I have been a UserTesting participant for I would guess close to 10 years. I was interested in having the ability to test websites, and to get paid was a bonus. The whole experience has been wonderful. I have made my mistakes as we all do, but have been rewarded repeatedly in learning about new products and services that are available. I have enjoyed the variety of testing opportunities that are offered, from live conversations to unmoderated tests on my computer, Ipad, and Iphone. My most memorable experience was a live conversation with a travel company. It was a 60 minute conversation about options I would choose to do via this company on my vacation. As it turned out, I was going to Italy shortly after, so it was easy to imagine what options I would select. The moderator was kind enough to give me a free breakfast and skip-the-line tour at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel in Rome, in addition to paying me for the live conversation. It was an experience I will never forget. UserTesting is responsive to questions, and always supportive of their testers. I have discovered great apps, products and services through my opportunity to test. I love it, and hope to have the opportunity to continue for many years to come. My best advice is to be yourself, be honest and have fun!
