UserTesting Makes Gathering Genuine Feedback Fast and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting is a platform where two types of people can register: business users and testers. Business users can list their new or upcoming features and select specific testers to try them out and share their own genuine feedback. The tests are mostly four types: unmoderated, live conversation, small live conversation, and short tests. For testers, a certain amount is allocated for completing each test, and once it’s approved, you can receive your compensation through PayPal. Tester can get 50+ tests within a week and they pay very well compared with their competitors. Task's are related to UI / UX design and core business talk. Easy onboarding with a sample qualifying task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, business users don’t provide enough details about the task. At times, the prototype and Figma pages also don’t work properly. Around 10–20% of tasks come with real tasks that take 20+ minutes to complete, but the pay is still low.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business user can get one platform where they can list their upcoming features evaluation and ratings before going to production. As tester they can consider as freelancer job which pay well and per task by giving some genuine feedback.

It's quick for recruiting to get quick findings, and has more or less ways to do quick user testing
What do you dislike about the product?
It's limited in its capabilities. It's missing certain methods such as click test. It's limited in types of questions and formats you can use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have new releases often, but it's still leaving a lot to be desired
UserTesting: Real Feedback Made Simple That Improves Products
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about UserTesting is getting fast video feedback from real people so you can see exactly how they use your product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about UserTesting is its high price, which can be too expensive for smaller companies or individual creators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting takes the guesswork out of product decisions by letting you watch real people use your product. That saves time and money because you can catch mistakes early. It also shows you exactly where users get stuck, so you can improve the experience and avoid spending money building features that nobody ends up liking.
UserTesting Streamlines Recruiting and Delivers Consistently Relevant Insights
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting helps me enormously when it comes to recruiting relevant users. It has made it easier for us to streamline our research process and consistently gather highly relevant insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s very expensive, and it doesn’t offer the most relevant integrations—especially when it comes to bringing in data that wasn’t collected through UserTesting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us quickly gather feedback on our digital products from the right users, and it doesn’t require much extra effort on our side.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations with the participant panel, and it can be difficult to find participants who match our exact user profile.

UserTesting helps us move quickly when gathering feedback on our designs, which in turn helps us stay on track with our product roadmap.
Frustrating Experience with UserTesting
What do you like best about the product?
The initial setup of UserTesting was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't really get going with UserTesting because I had issues initially with the software and then trouble with the VPN. My account was deleted for no reason after I appealed many times to customer help. Their onboarding process needs some help. The initial interview had an issue with my VPN, and it was the only service that did. I attempted to get help from UserTesting with no results. It wasn’t very user-friendly, and there could be a lot more information available on the app itself. Communication was very complicated, and I was never offered any resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting didn't solve problems for me; it actually created some.
Fast, Genuine User Feedback That Removes Guesswork
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting makes it really easy to understand what real users think and feel while using a product. What I like is how quickly you can get genuine feedback by watching users interact with your product and hearing their thoughts in real time. It removes a lot of guesswork from decision-making. Instead of assuming what users want, you actually see where they struggle or what they like. This helps improve designs, flows and features with more confidence and saves time that would otherwise go into back and forth discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usertesting can get expensive, especially if you need frequent tests or large number of participants. This can be a bit limiting for smaller teams or startups. Another downside is that the quality of feedback can sometimes vary depending on the participant. Not every session gives deep insights, so you still need to spend time filtering and interpreting results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User Testing solves the problem of not really knowing how real users experience your product. Instead of relying on assumptions, internal opinions, or long feedback cycles, it lets you see and hear users interact with your product directly. For me, this is super helpful because it brings clarity fast. I can quickly understand where users get confused, what they like and what needs improvement. It saves a lot of guesswork, helps teams make better decisions wth confidence and ensures changes are based on real user behavior, not just opinions.
Love this tool for quick and valuable feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Usertesting allows us to get feedback about our website from real people, very quickly. You can screen the users to ensure they meet your criteria. Generally we get results back within an hour, it has never taken more than a day. I like that you can take notes directly in the videos, so that you can easily find your spot later on. You can also create highlight reels and share them with your team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if I could do all my analysis and notes in user testing's site. Right now I am able to create notes on the video, and share clips, but I'd love to have a space to easily record and share higher level insights. No, you don't get the subtle observations that you would in an in person usability test, but this tool lets you get quick feedback to build up to an eventual in person test that may be more valuable than if you hadn't done any online tests first.
