I have been a contributor (tester) with UserTesting for 6 years thus far because of high quality of the experience and trustworthiness of the platform. Any infrequent issues that have ever come up (mostly tech issues) were always addressed in a timely manner. Their performance standards for testers has high expectations, but understandably so because you may be testing (providing feedback as a contributor) for very high profile Fortune 100 companies. If you do well, you get rated higher by their clients, and in turn you'll get more testing opportunities to screen for. It's a GREAT side gig, as long as you maintain the high quality of performance expected of you as a UserTesting contributor. What constitutes a "great" side gig, in my opinion? Well, in my 6 yrs as a contributor I've earned just over 10.5K in compensation. So, there ya go. Highly recommended.
