What do you like best about the product?

The ability to quickly get participants from the UT pool. I love adding in demos to quickly test something to get results within an hour. Our research team is much stronger with the ability to do this.

What do you dislike about the product?

Like any participant pool the quality can be somewhat variable. It is no where near as bad as some services we have used, but there are times where we will have to throw out a participant or a few and replace them. UT support is fantastic at helping with this process, however.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to get face to face interviews with our users and test new products on people who have analogous demographics. We mitigate a lot of risk by testing with these populations and are able to quickly and emotionally demonstrate how our users interact with our products.

What do you like best about the product?

I love how fast we can get direct feedback from users. It has allowed us all to rapidly iterate and improve our ux.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish that my payment tier allowed for us to target our actual users. I get it tho, the next payment tier allows it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The one thing that is frustrating is at the end of a video. You are asked to rate the video and it seems like you are summarizing the video but it’s actually reviewing the tester. Sometimes I accidentally send the participant the summary 😅

We have discovered and solved a bunch of UX issues that we never realized

- Fast responses from users - Diverse demographics of participants - Ability to make clips to share with teams - Transcript and playback speed is useful as well for scrubbing through videos - Support is usually fast - Live conversations have been a great addition

What do you dislike about the product?

- Fraudulent participants; people who lie through their screeners, this ends up wasting a lot of time especially for live conversations - Inability to link directly to a certain point in recordings - Tests could be better organized into folders

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Talking to users about their problems with our service - Getting fast users input on something we're thinking about launching - Getting specific user groups that we're trying to target into a call

What do you like best about the product?

Great for unmoderated testing. Love that you can control the speed of playback, and the note-taking functionality works well.

What do you dislike about the product?

The design is a little dated and unmoderated testing isn't great for certain types of research.

It's a solid choice for a limited type of testing.

Mostly clarity issues with established interface and content. Unmoderated testing shows us where the problems lie.
