- I like that it's quick - I can share videos quickly - Auto annotation - I can clip videos - Very quick to recruit participants

-Criteria is a little specific and not broad enough - No randomization of tasks

Problems - sometimes the videos are a bit slow - participants take a long time to complete Benefits - it's easy - doesn't cost that much

What do you like best about the product?

User Testing provides a great resource for researchers while being simple enough for designers and PMs to use independently. We love the new saved audiences feature and 'add to panel.'

What do you dislike about the product?

Using My Recruit - we still use it and like it, but I think there's room for improvement. It is a big lift to email a large pool of our customers and ask them to download the software and go through an unfamiliar flow. A simplified UX might be better for My Recruit.

It takes a bit of time to get familiar with the UX but the best way is just to dive in.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use usertesting.com frequently for usability projects, prototype reviews, and occasionally for generative research. We catch a lot of unpleasant experiences - generally I'm already aware of them working in design research, but clips and highlight reels provide great ammo when making my case to stakeholders.

The ease of use of the platform and simplicity.

Would love to have better filtering options for selecting user testers.

Understanding potential demand of a new product, and also understanding feedback from users.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely take advantage of all of the features of the platform AFTER testing. We just found out about the highlight reel, and are excited to use it in our next presentation. I'm sure there are other features we haven't taken advantage of yet, and look forward to finding/learning about and implementing them!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've done more user and market research through UserTesting than we have done before with other platforms. Not only are we able to do do user testing on our current prototypes, but we're also able to just send out surveys to find the right users to do background research that will yield insights to later drive design decisions.

Hard to scale research across org and provide enough results given a tightly constrained budget and high costs per survey

understanding experiences of users across website touchpoints and interactions with product pages and purchases

What do you like best about the product?

It's fast, cost-efficient and doesn't burden me with logistics of in-lab testing. I really like the feature to select my target audience and testing platform. Collecting remote customer feedback is particularly useful since it makes the participants have the familiarity and comfort of their own setup. This provides me an accurate display of a user's digital experience as they navigate the tasks of my test. I also like the screener questionnaire since it allows for me to create a more granular target audience for the test.

What do you dislike about the product?

Access to research studies is hidden for me and I've to reach out to my customer success manager to get started on it. I would like more control in the interface based off my membership.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving customer conversion rate on the landing page is the biggest problem that I'm solving for. UserTesting helps me put on my customer hat and solve for the gaps that my users are facing.
