Do you want to know the truth about UserTesting. Here it is. It is not a trustworthy company. And this is why 1) The screening questions were not relevant or truly reflected what the customer wanted. Example 1, I passed a screening and when I talked to the client on chat. They mentioned there should be another criteria in the screening which was not. I discussed with the client and I canceled the test voluntarily so that the client could find someone who was more suitable. But guess who took the blame and got a low star because of it. Example 2, I passed a screening. And I did the test. I found that the test was not relevant to the screening. 2) Most of the tests were sent to you in the mid of the night in your timezone. Most of tests that were sent to me was between 01:00 am - 03:00 am. 2) They stopped sending you tests all of a sudden without a reason. When you checked with the support. They didn't even bother doing any investigation to check if there was something wrong on their side. They only kept telling you to stay login. I had stayed logged in every day for 6 months but there was nothing coming in while I had a high rating 4.5 (out of 5) star rating. Wasn't it clear enough that there was something wrong on their side? But still they insist there was nothing wrong on their side. 3) They accused you of testing under two accounts out of no where. Don't be surprised and they would never tell you why they believed so. And they just deactivated your account straight away. 4) If a customer gave a low rating, e.g. due to a tech issue that the video stopped working while the tester didn't realise. They wouldn't even give you an opportunity to explain. 5) They never listened to their testers. They never protected their testers. Of course, there were so many testers. Why would they care? As client of and as a tester of usertesting, I suggest you avoid this company as they don't know how to respect people. If you work with a company like this, sooner or later you will become a victim too. As the competitors of usertesting, I hope that you will get more market shares than usertesting soon. Everyone knows how a monopoly can abuse the market and their customers.
