I have enjoyed my time so far as a user tester for this platform. There are lots of screener questions available daily, though you have to keep an eye on the website as they disappear fast. I am averaging around 1 test a day, they are typically very interesting, and I feel I am able to contribute well to the companies requesting feedback. I have been experiencing a fair amount of issues and bugs with the user testing recorder, but I have learnt to deal with them thanks to the support team. Hopefully in the future an update will fix these issues, as looking online there are a number of people experiencing the same as me. A big negative is that I have recently received an unfair 1 star rating which, based on the feedback from the customer, was simply because they did not like one piece of criticism I gave about the design. UserTesting have said they will review this and should remove it, but I have no information on how long this will take or whether it will affect my ability to take tests in the mean time. 95% of my tests don’t get rated and therefore this 1* has pushed my rating down. I think that there needs to be more quality control in terms of the customers. If this is resolved well I will happily update my review to 5*s.
