What do you like best about the product?

UserTesting handles the recruitment process. I can simply set up screening criteria and send the test out, and UserTesting handles the screening process, recruitment, even scheduling (I just set the hours I am available and they do the rest). Also, they handle the payments. This all lets me focus my time on research and testing. They also have metrics and various analysis tools that allow me to review and take notes on the recordings much faster than I otherwise could.

What do you dislike about the product?

Usertesting could have more types of questions built in. But, there are plenty of ways to work around this - it would just simplify analysis a bit.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Understanding VOC. Exploring and finding problems and friction points. Understanding why people feel a certain way or take a certain action. Understanding people's thought process about a decision. Understanding how usable and or confusing a feature on a website is.

What do you like best about the product?

Compared to all the other testing sites, UserTesting far surpasses. Having used UserTesting for my company and as a participant, I can say that it's easier to use and provides better results. Also, the pool of candidates taking the tests are really good.

What do you dislike about the product?

I'm not sure if its just because of COVID or UserTestings growing popularity, but its become increasingly more difficult to contact customer service if there is an issue.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've always conducted interviews, but the time and effort it takes to screen candidates, test with them, and analyze the results was taking way too long. UserTesting has reduced that time significantly so we can iterate faster and do more testing.

What do you like best about the product?

Usertesting has a wide variety of demographics to review your products and you get the best feedback to improve your products. The customer experience is great and they solve the issues within a given timeline. You can also be part of the testing panel and get paid for giving feedback on the products.

What do you dislike about the product?

Their mobile app is quite buggy and crashes often. The screeners of the testing the product sometimes are not well thought and may reject a user wrongly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Usertesting has helped provide a great way for me to review my design with certain targeted demographics and has helped me improve the product to make it more user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?

UserTesting does work well for most basic testing purposes - since it has such a large pool of testers, you can get participants for most studies within a day, or in most cases, almost instantaneously within a few hours. I like some features on UserTesting like the automatic transcription service, which has made my life a lot easier when doing analysis.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are lots of usability issues - which is ironic because UserTesting itself is used to test websites' and apps' usability! The calendar function is really hard to use, dragging time blocks sometimes doesn't work and I have to start a completely different study. The screener function leaves a lot to be desired as well - it does the job but users should be able to add more diverse question types and duplicate and move around questions a lot more easily. Some participants are definitely lying about their personal background to get into studies and I don't think userTesting is doing enough to stop people from doing that. Also when participants can't join Zoom for technical difficulties, they can still get paid although they didn't participate. That doesn't seem fair to me.

Testing the usability of websites and apps. Conducting generative research with in-depth interviews.

What do you like best about the product?

UserTesting screen activities recording function is useful and through the obtained insights, it now becomes very easy to understand the requirements for the website services enhancement. Also, the ability of direct targeting of specific requirements and easy test scheduling and very useful free trial to beginners.

What do you dislike about the product?

I was happy with UserTesting on my first implementation, and everything is easy and accessible functions.

We were to launch an online app to get your clothes stitched at your doorsteps by just filling up some main questions. We wanted to know how it is going to perform in the local market and whether the UX is quick and easy or not.
