USERTESTING APPOINTS TATYANA MAMUT, NEXTDOOR’S CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif – June 23, 2020 – UserTesting®, a leading provider of on-demand human insights, today announced that Tatyana Mamut, Chief Product Officer of Nextdoor, has been named to the UserTesting Board of Directors.

Mamut brings more than two decades of experience as a results-oriented leader with an obsession for building customer-led products and services for leading companies including Amazon, IDEO, Nextdoor, and Salesforce. She is currently the Chief Product Officer of Nextdoor, where she is responsible for leading product management, design and insights.

"I am thrilled to join the Board of UserTesting, a company that has created an outsized impact on my product, research, and design teams at Salesforce and Nextdoor,” said Mamut. “As organizations evolve their cultures to being customer-obsessed, all functions across the organization need the tools to get close to, listen, and respond quickly to evolving customer needs.”

Prior to Nextdoor, Mamut was general manager and director of product at Amazon Web Services where she led the creation and development of a new-to-the-world software product. She is a start-up advisor and fellow at Sapphire Ventures and executive board member at Advancing Women in Product. She has won multiple design and advertising awards, and holds several patents for her inventions at Salesforce and Amazon. She authored the Human-Centered Design Toolkit to bring Design Thinking to the developing world, and has led product innovation on six continents.

“We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to add someone with Tatyana’s expertise and passion for customer-driven innovation to UserTesting’s Board of Directors,” said Andy MacMillan, CEO of UserTesting. “I look forward to the insights Tatyana will bring to the UserTesting board, and the company overall, as we focus on global expansion and building better product experiences.”

Mamut concluded by stating that, “UserTesting is leading the revolution toward putting the customer at the center of innovation and decision-making. In the future, every conference room—physical and virtual—will have a 'UserTesting button' so that decision-makers can get input from real customers on all important decisions, and I'm excited to serve in making this future a reality. Today, as the world rapidly changes around us, the ability for companies to listen closely to their current and aspirational customers is more important than ever."
