You can make a few bucks here and there which is nice, but don't expect to earn enough to live on. When you do get a test assigned, they can be quite good fun to do. However, there are some real annoyances too: a) You might go through dozens of pre-screening tests before getting lucky. The tests only take seconds, but it quickly becomes annoying. b) Most of the tests seem to be geared towards business and corporate users, often in the IT field. So if you are a housewife looking to make a side income, be prepared to go through tons of pre-screens before getting lucky. c) I have had lots of issues with the platform crashing or going ridiculously slow. Often that resulted in the test running on too long and timing out, and despite reporting the technical errors, I never got paid for the tests. There is zero support and so I am never likely to get things resolved. For me, that is the biggest issue with UserTesting and has driven me away from using them. d) I am based in Germany but don't speak much German well. All the pre-screen tests are presented in English, but sometimes the test itself is in German. That just wastes everyone's times and UserTesting.
