Credit Sesame set out to redesign and relaunch its iOS app experience to better engage users, improve trust, and strengthen its market position. The company needed to transform a fragmented and complex user journey into one that was intuitive, emotionally resonant, and conversion-focused.
With a highly competitive fintech landscape and evolving customer expectations around transparency and usability, the stakes were high. The business needed to ensure its new app not only addressed usability gaps but also aligned internal teams—product, design, and marketing—around a shared, customer-centric vision. Without clear insights into user behaviors and expectations, the risk of misalignment and missed opportunity loomed large.

To ensure the new experience was rooted in real user needs, Credit Sesame embedded UserTesting throughout every phase of product development. With limited research resources, the team was able to gather fast, actionable insights that guided product, design, and marketing decisions.

Following the launch of the redesigned iOS experience, Credit Sesame achieved measurable improvements in both user perception and business performance.
