I required some basic assistance on how…
I required some basic assistance on how to change my username. Although its a bit of a let down not being able to do it myself, it was however very easy to request the change. The chat bot was quick to assist, there is no delay and it is very straight forward.

This platform is very easy to use. It also has many different types of tests and questions.
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and has lots of types of test and questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they can enable me to conduct the focus group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can set up the moderated and unmoderated tests with users on this platform. For the unmoderated test, the format is very smart and can lots of my time.

Exploitive time toilet
They started sending me these “micro jobs” which put $1 into my PayPal
account each time I did one. It went fine for about a month, then if I missed one the odd day and tried to do both the following day they’d only credit me for one. Then the things they’d ask me to look up on Google became harder to find and, in one case, impossible. I contacted their support and got no answer. Now they aren’t sending me assignments anymore. This site, like most of these survey things, are a waste of time. No where else could you get away with getting thousands of people to put in their precious time for a small fraction of minimum wage!

Unreliable
Unreliable! After hours of applying for different tests I was able to qualify for 1! and then after completing the test my test recording did not upload! I contacted their support but they are blaming it on my mac laptop and that the OS I am on is not supported. What a waste of my time! The test experience is so poor!

Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time! You fill out endless profile questions, take these qualifying "tests", finish lessons on "how to be 5-star reviewer" and after all the hoop jumping, you log onto an unfiltered batch of test where there are screening tests that ask you random questions and then determine you are not qualified. I just spent ONE HOUR filtering pages upon pages of these dead-end survey tests, then the one that I might be qualified for, there is a 15-minute limit on starting the test or you get bumped. This is the equivalent of trying to find a paying gig in cattle call auditions or have make a meaningful connection on a dating website.

Waste of time!
Waste of time, you get very few available tests and each time you apply you never qualify. My review as a UX Designer for this site is that the experience as a tester it's very bad. It's very frustrating not to give feedback or a reason why the person didn't qualify and make testers apply to the very few test they show up and be rejected each time.
I don't recommend this site, as a platform it's their job to match the testers with their clients. Not to make the testers waste their time for a very few bucks.

Unreliable, bad support
I must have spent hours just taking the screeners to see if i qualify for the tests. I need to answer the same questions about my region, language and company size every time just to get a refusal. It would not be too difficult to make a system that would automate this process for the testers far enough! I finally got to do a test after months of trying, and it was really detailed one and boy did i do my best, just to find out that after a completed upload the test had vanished into thin air leaving me without payment. The usertesting support is completely useless, they obviously do not have the means to help and do not even reply to my support requests. The idea sounded good but I am very disappointed about their product, there must be other ones out there that handle things more professionally.

Outdated software for testing and low technical support.
I signed up over a year ago and reviewed the Air and Space Museum web site and got the "please try again" email. I waited until now to do it again. Since then I've upgraded my PC and have Windows 10. This time, although I was able to use the hyperlink to the Air Museum web site from their recording player, I wasn't able to interact with the site. The blue wheel would just spin around.
Then I tried opening the site in a different tab, before the testing, and I was able to interact with the site. However, this put a opening technical issue in my recording, then a pause, and then back on board with the review. I also emailed the contact I was working, Jesse, and advised her of this. However, I still got the, "you didn't qualify" email the next day.
The fact that the hyperlink in their recording player doesn't work is their technical problem and they should advise you to open the web site they want you to review in advance of the testing. And I agree, the customer support is very low.
The good news is there are over 18 companies like this, so onward!

Pretty good! Especially if you're in IT or programming
I have been doing usertesting for a little over a month and I like it so far. There are A LOT of tests for data analysts and people in charge of IT.... I do not fall into this category but I have a decent amount of success with other tests. A couple of things, I am no expert and I don't know what their internal stats are like but I doubt someone that earns 90,000+ a year or more (most computer programers) will be interested in making a random 10 or 20 dollars a day. Obviously there must be those people or else the tests wouldn't exist.
In all, a solid product that I have gotten some good spending money for a few hours of my time. I would recommend.
