I required some basic assistance on how…
I required some basic assistance on how to change my username. Although its a bit of a let down not being able to do it myself, it was however very easy to request the change. The chat bot was quick to assist, there is no delay and it is very straight forward.

This platform is very easy to use. It also has many different types of tests and questions.

Very easy to use and has lots of types of test and questions.

I wish they can enable me to conduct the focus group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can set up the moderated and unmoderated tests with users on this platform. For the unmoderated test, the format is very smart and can lots of my time.

No way to make money
UserTesting, claims to pay you to perform website tests. The reality is, the testing requirements are so narrow on their jobs that it's very hard to qualify.
UserTesting claim to offer a fun way to make money, the reality is, after several hours answering screening questions, I only got one job, and that was through lying.
They don't pay you for the time you put into the system, because most of the time you put into the system is answering screening questions.
Furthermore if you don't do it fast enough they'll tell you first come first serve wasting your time even more.
Poor value for money, disappointing customer service.

Scam
Scam. I put in all my personal information that they requested. Then I downloaded their sketchy-looking application, then followed their instructions to test my microphone and make sure everything was set up properly. I then performed the test review as they requested. They walk you through a scenario, "if you wanted to determine whether or not the museum was open on a certain day, where would you go?". Then there are several questions like that following it. I performed the test in around 10 minutes, taking a total of about 20 minutes of my time to do everything and then the test. I submitted my video, waiting a day, and received an automated email from them saying "there was an audio issue". I replied to the email address they used and was told "the email address you sent a message to does not exist". It's another useless scam company

Very difficult to qualify for tests
Sadly I am only giving this site two stars because whilst the signup experience was okay, I have since been tearing my hair out doing multitudes of screeners only to find after the first question that I am not qualified to do the test. I would have expected to have at least one in the bag by now. I will give it another week or so but I am not going to constantly waste time doing screeners which leads to nothing.

Really good experience!
I've had a really good experience with User Testing. I've been a member for several years now, since 2015. I do go through a lot of screen outs unfortunately, but always been paid in full for the tests I have done. Payment arrives quickly through paypal, and on the few occasions I've had technical issues, their support teams have been helpful and polite. I definitely don't earn enough to live on, but the odd $20 or $30 a month is better than nothing imo.

I downloaded this onto my computer last night after watching a youtube couple that recommended this for passive income options. Bad idea, I already could tell by the userface that this was sketchy. How are you proposing to pay users based on their user experience and the company's program looks circa 2003 software. Terrible! I woke up today with a notification on my phone that someone was trying to hack into my Apple account which is the same email address that I used to sign up with this fake sketchy program. Someone from China was trying to sign in to my Apple ID account. Reading other reviews below, I can surely assume that this is a data mining tactic! DO NOT WASTE your time.

Class action needed for this company!!
Don’t even bother. First, you do test and they find a way to say it wasn’t up to par or their standard so they will not pay you! They come up with some poor excuse mentioning their client and how your test had background noise or it wasn’t thorough so they won’t pay you! You spend so much time trying to get qualified just to not get qualified for the test. Plenty of other companies out that are much better than usertesting.

Questionable.
Testers are forced to do a bunch of unpaid surveys in order to qualify for one test. Tests almost always take considerably longer then 20 minutes and nobody pays for overtime work. Test reviews seem to be driven by the company itself, rather then the real customers, and comments (both the positive and negative reviews) are extremely generic and nondescript. 3 star ratings do not get re-evaluated. Two similar tests done by you in the same exact way would get rated differently, one can get a "5 star, Excellent job", while the other - "2 star, User was not helpful", and guess what: you aren't supposed to get paid for one of them. UserTesting takes weeks to respond to your emails and their responses are again, generic and non-descript. One can earn some money there, maybe $30-40 a week, but after spending hours answering their unpaid surveys and weeks waiting for their emails, it gets old. The amount of unpaid work they make you do is near fraudulent.
