What do you like best about the product?

This is one of the best platforms I have ever used. You are able to apply for so many studies and they seem to come in through out the day consistly. They also have a lot of different pay-out amounts.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like that you have apply for a lot to try and qualify for so few of opportunities. I do think they should have a lot more studies that are greared towards the average person. They seem to have a lot that are geared towards software engineers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are finding out what consumers want from us especially our clients. It is very important to know what clients are thinking and feeling about what they are getting from us.

What do you like best about the product?

Usertesting's speed to insight makes it our platform of choice. We trialed several similar products, but in terms of features and panel quality, Usertesting was head and shoulders above the rest.

What do you dislike about the product?

Comms around changes to features could be better. We're often notified of new cool features, but sometimes features we use frequently are changed or even sometimes removed - it would be nice to know if the feature has been removed or moved elsewhere.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ensure you understand each of the features offered within each package. We quickly realized that additional elements from other packages (e.g. bring your own users) would have been beneficial.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Usertesting is allow us to discover user problems we were otherwise unaware of, and then validate solutions against those problems. Usertesting allows us to do this quickly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the ability to schedule and perform tests at will and to be able to easily set specific tasks, actions, and activities for the testers to perform. It's great having audio and video to accurately monitor and measure how the testers engage.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can sometimes be tough to match enough testers to tests. It's hard to combat, other than providing lower feedback ratings, testers who claim to be qualified yet are not.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Testing of layouts, messaging, functionality and workflow. It has allowed us to get a clearer understanding of how potential customers engage our website, messaging, call-to-actions and workflow.

What do you like best about the product?

The fact that one can check the and observe how actual users react on interacting with the product is a massive advantage. Another important aspect from digital products side is that we can validate our design solutions without actually having developed and run an AB test to find which one works the best.

What do you dislike about the product?

The testers, on more than some occasions, just rush through the tests, which might give little skewed results. Also, the level of audience targeting and segmentation can be further elaborative. Comparative testing on mobile screens needs a lot of improvement.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Validating our design ideas without having actually to develop and test. This saves our development cost and also saves a good amount of time. Apart from that, we get some high level trends and inclinations of users.

What do you like best about the product?

User Testing provides different ways of UX Research, and there are ready-to-use scripts that will help you to do moderated or unmoderated tests fast. The interface is clean and intuitive. Once someone has finished your test, you receive an email notification and can watch the video and put some notes on the site for specific parts of the recording. It really helps me to get answers from users from different backgrounds in a fast and accurate way.

What do you dislike about the product?

I've never tried to do moderated tests because all User Testing is in English, and our users are native Portuguese speakers, so this could be friction at the begging of the test. Another thing's the lack of a feature to categorize the results of tests but it's just a tiny detail.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

User Testing helps me get answers and feedback from people from different places, backgrounds, genders, and ages. Also with the advent of the pandemic of Covid-19, it was fantastic to have a tool to schedule, find users and record the sessions on just one site!

What do you like best about the product?

It is amazing how I can take the interviews and analyse them in the same tool. I love the panel feature they have, it becomes really easy to get external responses through that.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish we could test larger sample sets with it and do quantitative surveys as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting external participants for qualitative research. Also, the ability to edit video and dro clips is great to compile user insights for a research conducted

What do you like best about the product?

It is really easy to find people to test with. Most of the users are really good and provide helpful information. Scheduling interviews is easy and UserTesting records all the interviews, so that cuts out quite a lot of extra steps. The scheduling is really easy and UT sends out reminder emails, so very few participants cancel or are no-shows. The videos are easy to export as well. It uses Zoom and since just about everybody is on Zoom, that makes life easier.

What do you dislike about the product?

It definitely has some usability issues. It's not the more UX-minded platform. The dashboard is not great, kind of boring, and it easily gets chaotic if not properly managed. . If you use a shared account, only one person can be logged in at a time otherwise you get booted when the next person logs in. This is particularly problematic because when you click log in, it automatically logs you in with the most recent account you used. So if you have a shared account, you must always log out after each session or risk booting a teammate.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need to find test participants, this is a really great resource. Depending on your account, UT even handles all of the incentive payouts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for usability tests, general user and non-user interviews, A/B testing, surveys. Pretty much our entire UX research is done through UserTesting. We use it to schedule and conduct interviews with our users.

What do you like best about the product?

It easily connects a skilled group of users and researchers together to be able to extract insights. It really takes the challenges of organizing meetings out of the picture and enables simplicity and transparency about pricing and expectations.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are times where there can be bugs. One issue I have had was usertesting sanctioned video meeting was laggy despite perfect connections on both sides. Sometimes tests can glitch for the user and there are times when interviews can glitch and not allow users to apply.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are so many different types of research applications available on the market. This is the first one that has been straight forward, integrated and seamless. It saves a lot of time and money to do it this way rather than the conventional way.
