Remote testing for remote teams and fast User Insights

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

Our organization uses UserTesting to find and test people remotely and capture their interactions with our app and website. UserTesting allows us to find and reach audiences that would be difficult to find on our own. Our product is a family history / genealogical product that needs to reach an international audience so testing people from all over the world is necessary. We use UserTesting to understand friction and pain points in our experiences by creating prototypes, using UserTesting to target our audience and capture video of their use of the prototype and audio of them talking through the test.

Likelihood to Recommend:

Testing Figma prototypes, websites, mobile apps works well. Testing remotely or in person works well. If the product is not completely prototyped or give extensive instruction, then the user can get stuck and abandon the test. When in person, it is easy to fix the problem, however if a test is remotely conducted, then when something goes wrong it might crash the entire test and a new test is then needed.

UserTesting is UserFriendly

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

The business problems the product addresses helps our business determine user experience hurdles which our customers are facing. We're able to combine those qualitative insights with quantitative analytics from Google and come up with an optimization plan for my website. Once these issues were fixed we witnessed a lift in customer engagement.

Likelihood to Recommend:

I use UserTesting platform to do website usability testing for our e-commerce site. This way I can know if customers are having issues with how the website is designed or if its content is not relevant to customers' expectations. Then we hire testers through UserTesting platform at an affordable cost. And, give a specific use case. For example, browse a product detail page and confirm if the user was able to navigate to it quickly. And, once the user landed on product detail page, did they find the content per their needs. This way we were able to improve conversion rate and revenue driven from my e-commerce site through UserTesting.

Great tool to get results you need!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

We use it to validate our result when we survey our staff members for any events we have. And that helps us make a decision if to continue with events or cut down on events that are low. We usually see what kits are working for them and which don't. It helps me assure myself that my work is being done correctly.

Likelihood to Recommend:

We used it with in our company and send out a test to see how we could improve our annual event. It was so fast, and we got the responses quickly to be able to adapt what we needed to this year's annual, and it was a total success our percentage of happy staff went up by almost 75 percent which was a win for us. It was amazing

A User-Friendly and Efficient Tool for Usability Testing and Fast Feedback Collection

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

It helps us improve our systems and their performance. We can either test our products, usability unmoderated tests or use our tools to do tests to measure our performance on the use testing platform. UserTesting enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of usability testing processes providing quick result feedback, utilizing an intuitive platform, and accessing a large pool of users.

Likelihood to Recommend:

UserTesting is ideal for usability testing with various question types and an unlimited plan for comprehensive testing. It's excellent for UX, CRO, Creative, and Marketing teams, especially for iterative design and research. Though not a sole decision-maker, it clarifies user interactions, aiding business cases and design processes. I haven't encountered any scenarios where it's less appropriate of had affected my work in some way.

A well rounded platform for entry-mid level CX Researchers

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

We are a design and growth agency. Without testing ideas, we have no way to validate them. UserTesting allows us to research ideas correctly and validate concepts. It's used on both projects and retainers largely by designers and data experts within the discovery phases. It allows us to get data before developing and launching a feature.

Likelihood to Recommend:

It's well suited for providing a wide enough variety of user testing methods to allow a CX Researcher enough tools to get valid data and insights.It's not suited to more hands on methods of user testing or supporting some unmoderated forms of reviewing like asking a user to walk through a site whilst acting out specific scenarios and providing the recordings.

A decent tool when launching new features.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope:

We use UserTesting to try out new UX features that we want to implement. We also use it to understand customer problems onsite and how they interact with the website. This gives us a way to uses issues and address them.

Likelihood to Recommend:

UserTesting is great when you are launching new features and want to understand how users are interacting with it. Most of the time you find they use it with a different way than planned in the UX development phase. It does require prompts for users, but if phased right it can provide great data.

We use UserTesting as users and product marketers to AB and beta test our products. This helps us understand how users perceive our product, allowing us to go beyond the basic requirements and create a good UX. Our suite of over 400 products undergoes rigorous testing before being made live, and UT has a critical impact on ensuring delivery quality.

Likelihood to Recommend:

UT is best suited for launching new apps in the marketplace, where users can test it end to end to check features. It's not suited for minor releases since we need not get the same users with the same context to retest the changes.
