What do you like best about the product?

How easy it is to set up a test and gather quick feedback. Plus the team behind it is just amazing. If I ever need any help I know they will help very quickly and as well happy to do so. I also feel like I have a very good relationship with our customer success manager - she is amazing, always keeping in touch and making sure we make the most out of the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?

I guess the only thing I dislike is mainly around participants and how sometimes a few participants are too “professional” by this I mean that participants don’t really give their feedback but just say what they expect that you want to hear - obviously not much usertesting can do there. But other than that love it!

Make the most of your platform by hearing it your customer success manager, they will be able to guide you and share different case studies that will help you set up better tests.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am one of two researchers for a big telecoms company and usertesting.com helps me bring quick feedback to the table. I am solving different problems from how we present customers their bills, how they can issue payments, track their order, upgrades or hardware purchases, reschedule engineer appointments and/or communications. I have thanks to usertesting.com brought very valuable insight that helped our team improve the nps score of our bill and payment mobile app by almost 50 points!

What do you like best about the product?

It's nice to see a UX based platform take UX to heart and actually make their platform intuitive and easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not a whole lot that the team has voiced to me that they are unhappy with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is used heavily by our UX team to test websites, apps, and various other things for our clients.

What do you like best about the product?

The most helpful aspect of UserTesting is immediate feedback. It is a great way to engage with your customers, test prototypes, and get responses in less than an hour. As a UX researcher, it is an outstanding way to test (and test often). The ability to watch participants navigate your prototype or website via video is invaluable - this qualitative data can be used over and over again and analyzed for a multitude of behaviors. I highly recommend UserTesting for qualitative research methods.

What do you dislike about the product?

UserTesting is a qualitative tool. I do have to use other tools for my quantitative methodologies. I would love to see more quantitative abilities within UserTesting, for example - the ability to send out just a survey to your panel.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use UserTesting to find pain points within our business's website. It is an excellent way to just watch people run through your site in real time. For example, we noticed one speicfic page had an incredibly low NPS score even though it was recently updated. By utilizing participants in UserTesting I was able to discover that the reasons that page was performing so poorly was because one of our auto-fill plug-ins was not always functioning properly.

The wide range of participants ready and available to go through unmoderated tests

What do you dislike about the product?

Screening is not always accurate due to participants not being truthful about their experience.

A lot of usability testing and flow testing. Great for quick and immediate feedback for data driven design

What do you like best about the product?

I really like the large number of consumers I have access to via UserTesting. In addition, the quick turnaround on feedback and the Live Conversations feature have been great at giving us the necessary feedback for directional discovery.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes our studies are a mixture between survey questions and usability open-ended so certain features like ranking and card sorting would be great. In addition, from an account perspective sometimes the communication hasn't been as seamless as I wish it would have to let us know ahead of time of changes to our accounts that may affect how we use them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Feedback on directional discovery. Does something work? Is it usable? Can a user accomplish a task? What is the experience like? Is our proposed solution solving a consumer problem? Real-time feedback to be able to ask follow up questions as well as the ability to easily contact users via UT has been great.

The ability to user test our products and show what makes sense to the user

The downside is the ability to run more than one test at a time.

The video testing allowed us to see how and why a user us navigating the way they do. It provides great insight into the perception of our user design.

Honestly, I was pretty happy with it. I haven't used many other testing sites, so I don't have much to compare it to.

We are solving navigation issues, and improving call to action locations.

What do you like best about the product?

I love that we have the ability to learn and test new ideas instantly. We've used User Testing from ideas for new messaging all the way up to fully interactive prototypes. It drives our marketing and product strategy, and allows us to validate new ideas and features quickly, and with real people. The highlight reel feature allows me to condense insights from real customers and present them to leadership to get buy-in and sign off. It has truly made us a more customer-centric company. I love that we can bring our own testers, or rely on the User Testing panel when we don't have the time our resources to source our own participants for studies. Since signing up with User Testing, we have increased our volume of qualitative testing ten fold. All of my team mates love the ability to watch recordings and collaborate -- we always learn so much from each test. I also really appreciate that UserTesting is constantly releasing new features and improving the product. They also have a great support team and online tutorials section so you are constantly learning new methods for testing and staying up to date on best practices. As a UX practitioner, User Testing is the most important tool to the work I'm doing. It is worth every penny and has enabled our company to boldly release new features with confidence.

What do you dislike about the product?

User Testing is expensive, but worth every penny. To be fair, it would cost so much more (in dollars and time) to do this ourselves, but this tool is not cheap. I would say it's really only worth it if you are using regularly to make sure you are getting lots of value.
