Hard to scale research across org and provide enough results given a tightly constrained budget and high costs per survey

understanding experiences of users across website touchpoints and interactions with product pages and purchases

What do you like best about the product?

It's fast, cost-efficient and doesn't burden me with logistics of in-lab testing. I really like the feature to select my target audience and testing platform. Collecting remote customer feedback is particularly useful since it makes the participants have the familiarity and comfort of their own setup. This provides me an accurate display of a user's digital experience as they navigate the tasks of my test. I also like the screener questionnaire since it allows for me to create a more granular target audience for the test.

What do you dislike about the product?

Access to research studies is hidden for me and I've to reach out to my customer success manager to get started on it. I would like more control in the interface based off my membership.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving customer conversion rate on the landing page is the biggest problem that I'm solving for. UserTesting helps me put on my customer hat and solve for the gaps that my users are facing.

What do you like best about the product?

I love how simple it is to use and and the quality of the candidates that use the platform. We can quickly gain insight within a day or even hours of posting our test. The feedback mechanism given back from UserTesting has been extremely instrumental in validating products and experiences.

What do you dislike about the product?

Occasionally you'll get "power users" who just click through tests and you don't really gain insight from those users. If they could filter out these users in some format that'd be helpful going forward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

User validation as quickly as possible and A/B testing as well. We are trying to improve our users experience without deploying in-product changes on the fly. By using UserTesting we can validate these in a secluded environment without affecting our main site traffic. The main benefits have been the amount of tests we can run simultaneously.

What do you like best about the product?

There are two things that really make UT stand out over other platforms I've used. 1. The speed at which you get feedback (I've never had a test take more than a couple hours). 2. The fact they have built the product around iterative testing. Other platforms I've used make you go deep on the initial design and don't allow for flexibility once you've received your first feedback. UT allows you to pivot your tests based on the feedback you receive.

What do you dislike about the product?

There isn't much to dislike with UT, I think my main complaint is the price.

I work in a university incubator and we have pivoted the application of a dozen technologies based on the feedback we got through UT.

Being at a startup, things move really quickly and I need research results fast! UserTesting allows me to run research studies end-end within a week and provide valuable feedback to my team!

Nothing I dislike! It works great! The only thing is I wish it costs less.

I primarily use UserTesting to run A/B tests and usability tests. Aside from product testing, I also used it during our rebrand and tested different brand color treatments and marketing collateral.

UserTesting has a large pool of qualified participants so I can get answers quickly.

The user interface for setting up studies is complicated. It's easy to mess up.

It's expensive but still cheaper than traditional research methods.
