82% of UK adults prefer traditional banks over digital-only
Customer-centric organizations feel confident that they understand their audience perfectly, but how many of our beliefs about our customers, users, and audiences are out-of-date?
This is a question we asked when commissioning a survey from OnePoll regarding banking trends for different UK generations. This random double-opt-in survey of 1,000 UK residents with bank accounts found out fascinating key learnings about Gen X, millenials, Gen Z, baby Boomers, and the silent generation.
Here were some of the findings:
- 22% of respondents admitted they’re more likely to spend frivolously using digital payment options.
- 43% of those who prefer traditional over digital banks like speaking with a human.
- 77% of respondents transfer money up to five times per month.
This report is great for anyone interested to learn how the different UK generations actually feel about banking. Get the report for a more detailed look at the findings among the different generations.
